About me
Welcome to my website. My name is Catherine and I am warm, friendly and easy to talk to.
I am a fully qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering a counselling service in North Devon. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and adhere strictly to its ethical framework. I am a trained integrative counsellor which means that I have the flexibility to adapt my counselling skills according to my clients' specific individual needs. I am deeply committed to my own regular professional development and clinical supervision to further enhance my practice.
I will work with you in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore difficult feelings, such as those associated with anxiety, depression, trauma and loss. When you feel lost, alone or unheard, I will be there to listen and support your exploration of challenging events in your life or painful thoughts about yourself or others. In this way, I will help you identify what has bought you to counselling and encourage you in developing greater emotional resilience, purposefulness and the skills to make better choices for lasting change.
